Head of Technology
As the Head of Technology, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the development and operations teams. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be responsible for ensuring technical leadership, driving efficiency, and coordinating the delivery and support of our clients SaaS products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in technology management, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and have a "make things happen" mentality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Leadership:
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to the development and operations teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Collaborate with the CTO and other stakeholders to define the technology roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.
2. Team Management:
- Oversee the development and operations teams, ensuring effective and efficient collaboration.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and a culture of excellence.
- Lead by example, actively participating in hands-on technical work and providing guidance to team members.
3. Delivery and Support Coordination:
- Coordinate the delivery of high-quality software solutions, ensuring timely and successful completion of projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and customer support, to align priorities and address customer needs.
- Implement and refine processes and workflows to improve productivity and project management efficiency.
4. Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and taking proactive measures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards, promoting a strong focus on quality and reliability.
You bring/have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results within deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A self-starter with a "make things happen" mentality and a passion for technology innovation.
